Server management — no outages, no surprises

A server should be like electricity: it just works. We take over monitoring, updates, backups with restore tests and access management — Windows and Linux, in the cloud and in your server room. We see problems before your people do and fix them before you notice. Documentation and passwords stay yours all along. Full stop.

“We won't sell you hardware you don't need, and we won't bill you for every phone call. That's something we can put our names to with a clear conscience.”

Scope

What server management includes

Not “watching a dashboard” — full responsibility for servers that run, stay updated and can be restored. In writing, with a monthly summary.

24/7 monitoring

Availability, disks, memory, services, certificates. We see problems as a trend before they become an outage — and fix them without waiting for your call.

Patch management

OS and application updates in maintenance windows, with a rollback plan when a patch goes wrong. No “updates when there's time”.

Backups incl. restore tests

A backup that has never been restored is just hope. We test restores for real, regularly — and you see the result in the monthly summary.

Security & access

Admin accounts under control, passwords in a vault you can access too, logs collected. Accounts are closed on departure, not “when someone notices”.

Documentation

What runs where, how it connects, who has access to what. Yours all along — you can leave with it at any time. Ask every vendor exactly this.

Monthly summary

What happened, what we found, what we recommend. No invoices for invisible work — you see in black and white what you pay for.

What happens when “nothing happens”
  • Monitoring flags a disk filling up — we fix it before space runs out
  • Security patches install in maintenance windows, not during work hours
  • The backup ran — and the restore gets tested for real, regularly
  • A leaver's account is closed the day they leave
  • A monthly summary: what happened, what we found, what we recommend

You recognise working server management by not noticing it. Broken IT never pays us better than IT that runs.

Environments

Windows and Linux. In the cloud and in your server room

We manage physical servers, virtualisation and cloud environments — and above all their combinations, because that is what most companies actually run. Windows servers, Linux (mostly server infrastructure — we have clients with hybrid Win+Linux stacks), Microsoft 365 and Azure.

You don't have to migrate anywhere because of us. We take servers over where they are. When moving something to the cloud makes sense (or keeping it on-premises does), we tell you with numbers — the decision is yours.

Getting started

How the server take-over works

1
Inventory

A list of servers, services, licences and access. Most companies see for the first time what they actually operate.

2
Access hand-over

Admin passwords into a vault, documentation of what runs where. A civilised procedure exists for taking over from a vendor or a departing admin.

3
A quiet first month

We mostly watch, measure and take notes. The list of what is in worse shape than expected goes to you.

4
Only then changes

By priority and by agreement. No “we'll redo everything in week one”.

Pricing

What server management costs

Server management is part of our monthly flat fee based on company size — prices are public in the price list, and you can build the exact number for your company in the online calculator — no sales meeting, you see the price instantly. One-off work beyond the scope (projects, moves, new environments) is billed hourly at €59/h.

How market prices compare and how to evaluate incomparable offers is covered on our IT outsourcing page — server management is part of it.

FAQ

What companies ask

Do you manage both Windows and Linux servers?+

Yes. Windows servers and Linux — for Linux it is mostly server infrastructure; we have clients with hybrid Win+Linux stacks. Plus Microsoft 365 and Azure.

Do we have to migrate to the cloud because of you?+

No. We take servers over where they run — in the cloud or in your server room. When a move makes sense, you get a recommendation with numbers and decide yourself.

How fast do you respond when something happens?+

We resolve 90% of requests within 30 minutes, wherever you are based. Hardware site visits are scheduled in advance. Thanks to monitoring, though, most problems are fixed before you even report them.
