How to use AI in your company
Artificial intelligence is no longer something we only watch in sci-fi films. It's not even reserved for huge corporates anymore — these days almost everyone has access to AI.
Artificial intelligence is no longer something we only watch in sci-fi films. It's not even reserved for huge corporates anymore — these days almost everyone has access to AI. Most of us should be using it, too, if we want to save time or money. So today we'll look at a few tips for bringing AI into your business.
Helping with customer support
Customer support is a perfect example of an ideal AI use case. Not only is the work repetitive, it actually benefits from running 24/7. It has its quirks, and it's good to give customers the option of speaking to a human, but for basic tasks it's more than capable.
Producing marketing
AI is surprisingly good at "creating" marketing content. Whether you need to generate images, slogans, or analyze who you should target with your ads, AI can help you out. The only thing you need to know is how to ask. The simplest approach is something like: "Pretend you're a marketing expert…" It won't always be perfect, but these prompts push the quality of the output into a usable range.
Automating anything that makes sense
To start with — what do I mean by "makes sense"? Basically anything that doesn't lose quality and/or costs less than human labour. If it's easier and cheaper to keep a human on it, definitely don't switch to AI. But if you have routine tasks that justify it, give it serious thought. Things like creating and writing into calendars, to a certain extent calculating expenses, profit, and finances generally. AI is also great at analyzing data, whether yours or general data sets.
In closing
If you've been avoiding AI like a vampire avoids a cross, it's time to give it a chance. It isn't a perfect solution to every problem, the way some companies will try to sell you. So try implementing it somewhere, because by now there's truly a place for it for everyone.
