So what's the verdict?
· Anyone wanting to send email needs DMARC configured.
· Anyone wanting to send more than 5,000 emails a day needs both SPF and DKIM configured.
· Anyone wanting to send email must not exceed a 0.3% spam-complaint rate.
What does this mean for the average company?
Not much will change for you. If you don't have DMARC in place, you'll need to set it up — and if you have a spam problem, Google itself has a page that can help.
