Origin story

A rejected proposal became a company.

Roman was the last kid in his high-school class to get a computer at home. He caught up the hard way — reinstalling Windows about 170 times before it clicked. After university, he landed on a helpdesk at the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Cables, printers, moving people between desks.

In 2008, the Czech EU presidency was coming up. Roman pitched BlackBerry as the mobile platform — secure, remotely managed. Management said it wouldn't work. He quit, registered as a sole trader, entered the same tender — and won.

We ran the contract for six years. When the ministry decided to drop BlackBerry and offered us half the work, we said „no thanks." By then we had other clients, and we could see where our value was bigger.

Today we run two parallel tracks. Small and mid-sized companies (5–500 people) — where ZERO TOUCH IT replaces the need for an in-house IT person. And help for enterprise clients in the spots where their own teams hit a wall.

Milestones

22 years in milestones.

Twenty-two years straight. No rebrand, no new owner, no "fresh start." One company ID, one name. Here's the history as it actually happened.

2004
Roman starts as a freelancer

One laptop, one client, no plan to build anything big over the next 22 years.

2008
ICT-GROUP s.r.o. is founded

From freelancer to a proper company. From hobby to business.

2009–2015
Partnership with the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Six years working for the state. The reason we know today how IT behaves under pressure — and what genuinely secure environments look like.

2010
First business-sector clients

SMBs — and the realization that added value is what matters.

2011
First employees + NBÚ security clearance 001608

Security clearance from the Czech National Security Authority (NBÚ), license number 001608 — we know how to handle classified information.

2012
First corporate client: The Bell School a.s.

We learned that corporate is just a larger SMB with a different communication style.

2013
First Microsoft certification + SMB focus

Strategic decision: we focus on SMBs. 5–100 people, where professional vs. chaotic IT makes a daily difference.

2014
Getting comfortable with Linux

Not instead of Microsoft — alongside it.

2015
Microsoft 365 and Azure

Microsoft 365 and Azure become our primary stack. Cloud-first, not cloud-only.

2016
Alpha Associates Zurich → Amundi

We sign Alpha Associates Ltd. in Zurich. Swiss financial sector = regulatory environment, audit trail, ISO-ready. Later, acquisition follows — Alpha becomes part of Amundi, the European asset manager.

2017–2022
From a group of friends to a company with processes

A few things gave us a hard time — but only once.

2019
Automating our own operations

What a script can do, a script does. People handle what scripts can't.

2023
ZERO TOUCH IT + SECURE WORKSPACE for Windows

A new iteration of what we do: maximum automation, minimum human touch, always secure.

2024
+ macOS, Android, iOS

ZERO TOUCH IT isn't Windows-only.

2025
Jakub Krutina joins

Junior IT support at the start. Within a year, Digital Workplace Ninja — Microsoft 365 & Azure specialist. Sometimes talent just can't be held back.

2026
+ Google Workspace

Alongside Microsoft 365 and Azure, we add Google Workspace to our full portfolio. We didn't marry Microsoft. We know cloud well enough to do both.

No hero story, no "a VC saved us." Step by step, client by client. That's the whole story.

What we tell every client

Four principles we build the stack on.

Automation beats user training

Patches, backups, monitoring and password rotation must run themselves. Relying on users to be careful is a losing strategy. Our architecture is built on the principle that mistakes shouldn't be fixed in a hurry — they shouldn't happen by design.

Predictable pricing, not hourly billing

Monthly flat fee per user. No stress over billing every minute. The client knows what they pay, we know what we get. A balanced relationship from day one.

Transparent pricing

Free 5-minute audit before any business conversation. Pricing visible to anyone — no meeting. If you don't come back after the audit, fine — you have a report and we have a clean conscience.

Architecture is often the problem.

At first glance it can look like people are the problem. So you train them — and it only works sometimes. The real issue is that the architecture has to be designed to account for human error, support productivity, and stay secure at the same time.

What to expect

Your first 14 days with us

No fog. Specific milestones, specific outputs. If something's slipping, we tell you — we don't stay silent.

Day 0

30-minute intro call

No deck, no slides. Just questions about what you're solving. If we don't have the right solution for you, we'll say so openly. If we're a good fit, we'll suggest a path forward.

Day 1–3

Free technical audit

External scan + Microsoft 365 and on-premise analysis with your sign-off (read-only). We surface risks, weak spots, and quick wins.

Day 4–7

Quote and scope of services

Specific numbers. Specific scope. No "we'll see later." You sign or you walk — no hard feelings on our side.

Day 8–14

Pilot or full kick-off

Pilot deployment on 5 devices (quick proof it works), or a full kick-off. Depends on company size.

FAQ

What we usually get asked

If something's missing, let us know — we'll reply directly and add it here.

How much does the 30-minute intro call cost?
Nothing. The first call is always free. If we have nothing to offer you, we say so. A short honest call beats a long sales ritual.
I already have a vendor. Can you give a second opinion?
Yes, we often do. External second opinion coordinated with your IT team or vendor. NDA before any technical exchange. Joint final report. If we find everything's fine, you get that in writing.
Do you respond outside business hours?
Critical incidents 24/7 for ZERO TOUCH IT clients — monitoring and auto-recovery run non-stop. Everyone else: under 1 hour in business hours, up to 24 hours outside.
Do you travel to clients outside Prague?
Yes, though we handle 90% of the work remotely — faster and more efficient. In-person visits on request, especially for kick-offs or escalations.
How fast can you actually start?
First call typically within 3 business days. Pilot setup for 5 devices within 14 days of signing. Full onboarding for a 20–50-person company usually 4–6 weeks.
What if we don't click on the first call?
No problem. You'll get three concrete recommendations for tomorrow — even if you go with someone else. And we'll stay in touch as an advisor. No strings.
